Accessories
Non-Regenerative Carbon Adsorption
Carbon beds and carbon filters are used to remove 99% of VOCs from the exhaust
airstream. This requires an additional chamber
for the filter bed and some additional horsepower to overcome the static pressure loss of the filters.
NESHAP Filtration
NESHAP requires 95% removal of particulates over 5 micron size using a three stage filtration system. We uses a filtration
system that provides 99% removal! This makes the approval of our booths by environmental groups a simple matter.
Air Handling
Our systems can provide humidity and temperature control in all climates. A recent installation used both de-humidification and humidification as well as evaporative cooling to achieve the lowest operating costs available for the air handling system. The use of a heat recovery heat exchanger allowed the chilled water system to be reduced from 660 Tons of refrigeration to a mere 120 Tons.
AFFF Fire Protection
Frequently we supply and install fire protection systems in our aircraft booth inserts. We usually offer water sprinkler protection above the wings with AFFF foam for under-wing protection. If your project requires fire protection, consult with us and we can help you specify a workable and practical system.
Plenum Doors
These doors allow for fully controlled airflow into the booth. The air is triple filtered to provide the ultimate in cleanliness and freedom from dust and lint. The only dirt that can get into the booth is carried in by the painters! The use of an air-ride suspension on the door drive system is unique and provides the most forgiving ride for this style door over uneven terrain. Their design keeps a low center of gravity to allow for precise control of the door positioning and low inertial wobble.
Re-Circulation
In large Booths, it may be cost effective to consider using re-circulation of the booth air in lieu of 100% exhaust. Consideration must be given to employee health and it is most advisable to use a paint suit and mask with breathable air applied.
